Using iTunes

Gutenberg College is listed among the universities and colleges on iTunes U (iTunes University), a place where the public can access audio and video files from many colleges and universities.

This means two things: 1) If you open the iTunes program, go to the iTunes U section of the iTunes store, you will find a link to a list of colleges and universities. Gutenberg is on that list. 2) Anyone doing a search in iTunes for, say, “Gospel of Luke” or “Sermon on the Mount” (sermons taught by Gutenberg faculty at Reformation Fellowship), will find links to talks on the Gutenberg site. A lot of material from Gutenberg College and its institutes is already on the site, and we hope to have all our currently active media files there soon.

If you are not already familiar with iTunes, you can download the program for free here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.

Audio materials from Gutenberg and its institutes will remain available to download from Gutenberg’s McKenzie Study Center website.

A unique group of people who share the same vision — “to educate individuals and foster an understanding of the biblical worldview” — created Gutenberg College, its institutes (McKenzie Study Center and Art Project), and its press. The local ministry to university students that began in 1979 as McKenzie Study Center has grown over the years as God has provided opportunities to meet various needs. Gutenberg College opened its doors in 1994. Art Project held its first conference in 1996. And Gutenberg College Press published its first book in 2004.

Gutenberg College, McKenzie Study Center, Art Project, and Gutenberg College Press exist under one “umbrella”: Gutenberg College, Inc. Each organization has its own ministry emphasis and website. But they share many of the same staff, many of the same resources, and this Community Resources site.

This site is intended to be a “community” site in two ways: (1) it provides information and news pertaining to the community of organizations (Gutenberg College, McKenzie Study Center, Art Project, and Gutenberg College Press); and (2) it provides the common resources of these organizations to the community of people who have grown around them.

Use the links on the left to access these common resources and to find out how you can both contact and support Gutenberg College, McKenzie Study Center, Art Project, and Gutenberg College Press.
