Using the Online Store

Selecting items for purchase
Whenever you see an item you might like to purchase, push the “add to cart” button associated with the item. The item is recorded in your shopping cart, which you can view and change at any time.

No actual order is sent to us until you go to “checkout,” where you will enter your payment and shipping information. Only when you push the “Submit order” button will your order be sent to us.

Payment options
When checking out you will be asked to choose your payment options.

Credit card online: You can enter your Visa credit card number, and your information will be sent securely (encrypted) to us.

Check or credit card by postal mail: If you do not want to use a credit card online, you can choose to send us a check or your credit card information by mail. After submitting your order, you will be shown in your browser an order form which you can print out and mail (or fax) to us.

Shipping
We ship using the regular US and International mail. Your options:

1. USA (2-3 day): If you live in the United States, select this option if you want us to mail your order First Class/Priority mail, which usually takes 2-3 days. (Allow several more days for us to process your order.)
2. USA (7 day): If you live in the United States, select this option if you want us to mail your order “Media Mail,” which usually takes 7 days. (Allow several more days for us to process your order.)
3. Canada: Select this option if you live in Canada.
4. Mexico: Select this option if you live in Mexico.
5. International: Select this option if you live anywhere else.

In a few situations, a small handling charge is included in the shipping cost.

Security and privacy
Our shopping cart service is provided by Americart, whose privacy statement you will find here. The information you enter in the checkout form is securely encrypted at every stage of its journey on the Internet.

Gutenberg College will not use the information you send us for any reason except to process your order. We will not share your information with anyone else, nor will we use it to send you any unasked for email or “snail mail.”
